Since I made the decision to transition then do the bigchop, I started working out and eating right. It has opened my mind to culture and different lifestyles.
Maybe but it's been amazing how it's opened up other people's minds! I've gotten so many compliments (so much more than when I rocked straight hair) since going natural. I can't say I haven't tried to use my impressive curly locks to convert the masses. I've managed to convert all my sisters and even my grandmother who is a diehard faux straight-haired gal has nothing but compliments to offer.
